Evidence-Based Nursing Evidence Translation Contest

Activity Plan.

Objectives.

The main objective of this contest is to promote the

use of evidence-based practice in nursing, enhance nurses'

ability to critically appraise and translate research

evidence into nursing practice, and improve patient

outcomes.

Eligibility.

This contest is open to all registered nurses,

regardless of their level of experience or practice setting.

Submission Requirements.

Submissions must be original work, not previously

published elsewhere. Each submission should include the

following elements:

Abstract (250 words or less) that provides a brief

overview of the research evidence, the evidence appraisal

process, and the proposed translation plan.

Evidence Appraisal (500 words or less) that provides a

critical analysis of the research evidence, including the

study design, methodology, results, and limitations.

Translation Plan (500 words or less) that describes

how the research evidence will be translated into nursing

practice. The plan should include specific strategies,

tools, and resources that will be used to implement the

evidence-based practice change.

Judging Criteria.

Submissions will be judged based on the following

criteria:

Quality of the evidence appraisal (40%)。

Feasibility and impact of the translation plan (40%)。

Innovation and creativity of the submission (20%)。

Prizes.

The top three submissions will be awarded cash prizes

and recognition at a nursing conference.
