Before I say anything else, I would like to make it clear that I am by no means an experienced coder and most of the time I don't understand what some of the suggestions I get even mean. When I run a Lighthouse check on my site, I inevitably get notices that my FCP and LCP are too slow, and that I do not have image sizes defined. I have read everything I could find on "how" these should be changed, but nowhere does it say how to do it. For example, the image size note says to add the size attribute to the html, but I don't know where I should be doing that. Similarly, there are notes about adding CSS but again, where do I do that? I would also like recommendations on a course/tutorial that actually pinpoints how and where to make these corrections. Any help anyone can give is greatly appreciated.
