I would like to block requests by a chrome-extension without removing that extension.
I can add its request URL to UBlock Origin's filter lists but it's still going through - am guessing it's because the extension whitelists chrome-extension-scheme
.
So, how can I both permit most chrome extensions while also blocking requests from a specific extension (again, without removing that extension)?
Some of the reading or attempts I've made:
- I've played around with the extension's request URL in a number of the patters from :-rule-syntax and I still see a request and response from the extension. I wonder if it's because this isn't a request to a site via http/https
- I don't want to block a specific URL from a specific Chrome extension, so this isn't relevant: (How to block a specific URL in google chrome extension?)
- I'm not looking to block search results that would include certain results (How to simplify these Ublock filters that block Google annoyances)
