Dear John,

Thank you for your kind letter. You told me that

you and most of you classmates went out for a three-day

trip. I really think it fun. Now let me tell you

something about a speech contest, which I have taken

part in.

The contest was held at the playground last

Saturday morning, 7: The panel is made up of 5 English

teachers from our school, all of whom were experienced.

Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from

we Grade 2. It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors

would be awarded. It is a great competition and all the

participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won

the first place.
