for the school, and I boarded on school bus as usual. Suddenly

the bus came to an abrupt stop, and then I heard a hard breaking

scream. When I rushed my way to it, I saw a man lying in a pool

of blood, and he couldn’t stir. I felt at a loss. At that time

someone nudged my arm, and pointed at the telephone booth,

so I suddenly realized I should call the emergent number 110.

lady in front of me. She wanted to cross the street. All of a sudden,

a bicycle ran against her at a high speed. The old woman fell to

the ground. The cyclist was very frightened and ran away. I

hurried to help the lady up, called a taxi and sent her to the

nearest hospital. Luckily she was not badly hurt.

We live in a large city which is like a big family. We should

Allee was admitted to the hospital because of a car accident. The

day before yesterday, Allee was going to bookstore to buy a book.

He was very careful when he got to the crossroad. He crossed the

street then the traffic light turned green. However, when he just

went to the middle of the street, a car suddenly appeared at his

right-hand side and came directly towards him. The driver drove

fast and it was too late to dodge. Allee was knocked down by a

few meters away. He was taken to the hospital immediately and

had a surgery. Last night, I visited to him. He looked pale

although he was out of danger.

careful look at the chart and study the figures, you'll find the

number of people injuried or killed in the traffic accidents in city

A has been increasing all the time. In July , there were only 2,000

people injuried, while inDecember, the number of the injuried

went up to 4,200. There was an increase of 110 percent. As for

the people killed in the accidents in July, the figure was only 300,

but in December it rose to 1,200 which was four times as bigger

as it was in July. So the traffic problem has become a big

headache for the city government.
