加拿大博士后申请

加拿大博士后的申请程序非常复杂，有很多的资料需要准备，当

然，如果能过顺利申请到加拿大的博士后签证，不仅对找工作十分的

有利，更多的是，很多人通过博士后签证获取了移民的资格。

加拿大博士后申请

加拿大于1949年开始招收第一位博士后研究人员，是由国家科学

研究理事会(NRC)招录并在它自己的实验室里从事博士后研究工作。

当时提出博士后计划的主要目的，是引进世界各地优秀科研人才，加

强NRC的研究工作。博士后计划在NRC实行后，很快在大学里也开

始实行，大学的博士后经费亦由NRC拨给。这样，博士后计划的目的

从仅仅为加强NRC的研究工作转变为同时为了提高大学的教学水平和

研究能力。与此同时，博士后研究人员从引进国外高级研究人员为主

转变为录用加拿大本国的博士为主。在加拿大，对博士

后研究没有明文正式法规，有些人认为还没有形成一种制度。但

也有人认为，这个事物已经得到政府部门，高等学校和研究单位的承

认，并普遍在实行着，又形成了—套大同小异的习惯做法，可以称为

是一种制度。 在加拿大的不同单位里，虽然对博士后研究人员的解释

是不同的，但有一点是相同的，即从事博士后研究的人都必须获得博

士学位。—般来讲，博士后研究人员有年龄和工作期限的限制，而助

理教授和研究助理没有年龄和工作年限的限制。 1978年以后，由于博

士后的待遇低(2.3万加元/人年)，时间短(27个月)，完不成工程研究项

目，缺乏吸引力，因此，NRC取消了博士后计划，改为副研究员制度，

或称政府科研机构的访问学者制度。这些人属NRC的雇员，但不是永

久式职工，比博士后要高，工作期限为二年，期满还可延长一年，但

最长不超过五年。这种办法很有吸引力，每年招录50人，却有一千多

人申请。 NRC取消博士后研究计划后，就不再向各大学拨博士后经费。

目前大学的博士后经费主要来自：(1)加拿大自然科学与工程技术研究

理事会(NSERC);(2)加拿大医学研究理事会(SSHRC);(3)社会科学与人

文科学研究理事会(HRC)。 以NSERC为例，博士后研究人员可由两种

渠道获得资助。一是由博士后直接向NSERC申请，每年获准者约有

200人。他们可以到任何单位(包括国外的)去从事博士后研究工作。二

是由教授向NSERC申请研究项目资助金，其中包括录用博士后的费用。

被录用的博士后要在教授的实验室里从事该项目的研究工作。直接向

NSERC申请奖学金的博士后，工作期限为一年，但期满后可续一年，

总计也是两年。

the applicant’s spouse or common-

law partner and/or children are planning to accompany the appl

icant, they will need to complete their own application using the

appropriate application form.

Two (2) identical photos, colour or black and white taken ag

ainst a plain white or light coloured background within the last

6 months. The frame size is 35mm X 45mm. On the back of one

photo in each set, write the name in pinyin and date of birth (da

y/month/year) of the person appearing in the photo.

申请人需递交两张相同的在最近六个月内拍摄的彩色或黑白照片，

背景为纯白色或浅色。相片外框大小为35毫米X 45毫米。每张照片

A notarized copy of applicant’s No Criminal Activity Certifi

cate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or t

erritory where you have lived for six consecutive months or long

er since reaching the age of 18.

无犯罪记录证明的公证件。申请人年满18 岁后，若在中国以外某

国家或地区曾连续居住六个月或以上、均必须从此国/地区获取警方无

犯罪记录证明。

A copy of the employment contract signed by the applicant

and the employer in Canada OR an original letter of offer with

a detailed description of expected duties and length of employ

ment.

申请人和加方雇主签署的雇佣合同副本，或一份包含未来工作职

责详述及雇佣期限的工作机会函原件。

The Labour Market Opinion provided by HRSDC OR Docum

entation explaining that applicant is applying to a Labour Marke

t Opinion exempt occupation, specifying which exemption appli

cant is applying under OR an occupation that permits him/her t

o apply concurrently for a Labour market Opinion and a Work P

ermit.

11.

An original letter of employment from applicant’s current

employer in China granting leave of absence, and including the

following information: applicant’s name, position and current s

alary. This letter must include employer’s name and address in

Chinese characters as well as telephone and fax number.

在中国的现任雇主出具的准假雇佣信原件，并包括以下信息：申

请人的姓名、职务和目前收入。此信必须包含用中文注明的雇主全称、

All original occupational and professional certificates (e.g. O

A notarized copy of any college diploma, undergraduate de
