Hello All I have installed Eve-ng bare metal and the server has 6Tb drive, 2 xeon cpus, and 700 GB of ram. I installed it per the community cookbook and it seems to be running, but when I load Cisco vIOS or ASA images it will go into a pix boot and stop. I followed and named the images per the cookbook and EVE web site, but I do not see why it will start via the following command line:
qemu-system-x86_64 -m 2G -hda virtioa.qcow2 -machine type=pc,accel=kvm -serial mon:stdio -nographic -no-user-config -nodefaults -rtc base=utc -cpu host
but from in eve it just fails to load. The un_wrapper.txt
does not provide too much information, but I am lost as to where to look to get details on what is happening with the image load process.
qemu-system-x86_64 --version
QEMU emulator version 6.2.0 (Debian 1:6.2+dfsg-2ubuntu6.24)

kvm-ok
INFO: /dev/kvm exists
KVM acceleration can be used
If you have any suggestions, let me know.
I tried to reinstall the program two times and installed the Linux integrated tools.
I tested the images and they seem to work from the location where eve-ng pulls them from under the /opt/unetlab/tmp/0/01de81c7-02ac-431c-b4c0-590e451b343d/1
folder for this lab.
