Hi I'm trying to setup a layered shader, using the existing material library that comes with the automotive materials pack. From the tutorials I've seen this can only be done by converting all parameters in the base material to "material attributes".. This would break the preset material wouldn't it?

Is there a simple way to layer pre existing materials over one another?

Currently, I've instanced a material from the master pack, and on this window it says "add a material attributes layer parameter".. No way to add it to the instance, guessing this would need to be done on the parent?

Using UE5, with automotive materials pack..

Thanks
