shell command forces git to use 100% cpu - Stack Overflow

I face a very strange behavior on my linux box (suse tumbleweed): if i do something on a shell, say pdflatex or anyting else. Then top shows that git is started!!!! under my user name. This slows down my process of course but after it finishes also git load returns to normal. The command can be something very crucial like cd.

I found out, it must have to do with a certain folder.. Other folders behave normal I found out, that some tex files were executable. I turned that off but the problem remains.

I really do not understand what happens and I cannot figure out what to do against.

Help very much appreciated.
