I am a process improvement manager over a company that builds utility sized solar projects. We use Google Earth on our tablets to navigate a site using a kmz. We learned that maps had a similar option in the my maps section where you can upload a kmz.The upload went well minus the limitation on how many assets you can have uploaded. The issue arrives when we try to have the kmz load onto Google maps (the android auto and Apple OS) versions don't appear to show the kmz as it does on the actual phone version of the app. Google maps version not showing overlay (I have scrolled to the other location but its also blank)

We loaded the kmzs from a computer on the "Maps" tab, we are able to see the asset on our mobile device and open it up to see the overlay on our map on the phone. However, upon connecting to the trucks display, the android auto version of maps did not show the overlays at all.example of the overlay from the mobile device
