i created an application which allowes me to remotly scan via the WIA library. Everything works great but now Business needs a Lot smaller files. The required size is only possible when scanned in black and white. The file also should be a Tif.

The Problem now is that The scanned documents are signed or contains hand written notes. When scanning in black and white these notes are barely visible.

I Played with the brightness and contrast but still no usable result...

The scanner is an "HP LaserJet MFP M528".

Is there a way to do this?

Update: I could solve it by scanning it and saving the file as gray and then converting it to Black and white using magick
