I want to know how can we add thumbs up and thumbs down feedback buttons(Refer in image below message container) for Whatsapp Messages sent via whatsapp APIs using the message template

I have explored all the provided templates in Whatsapp Manager or even created custom templates but couldn't find a way to achieve the same.

Please help.

This is not supported yet. I believe that functionality is hardcoded to Whatsapp and not through Whatsapp Business API.

As of now, the only way to implement feedback mechanism is through regular buttons.

What I don't like is that even for the buttons, you can't set them to be Emojis. You will have to write some text.

Currently, it’s not possible to add thumbs up or thumbs down buttons outside the message container in WhatsApp Message Templates. The WhatsApp API only supports buttons within the message body, such as:

1. Quick Reply Buttons: Use these to simulate feedback options, e.g.,
