Using buses in Japan can be difficult for foreign tourists
because there are usually few English signs, and there are
different systems of ticketing in different companies.
Below is a description of the most common system:
Enter the bus through the back door (or front door if
there is only one door).
When entering, pick up a ticket from a small machine. A
number is printed on the ticket, which you will later use
to determine (确定) your fare (票价).
A display (显示) above the driver shows the next stop
and the fares for that stop. To determine your fare,
match the number on your ticket with the number and
fare on the display.

World Sleep Day is March 21. Many experts have held a press
conference (新闻发布会) in Beijing Hotel. Sleep is
sometimes called “the cousin of death”. But funnily
enough, it is also one of the most important things we
need to stay alive. People spend almost a third of their lives doing one
things: sleeping. Sleep is like food for the brain. Enough sleep helps the
body and brain grow and develop.
People of different ages need different amounts (数量) of sleep.
According to the National Sleep Foundation in the US, adults need seven
to nine hours of sleep every night. For students aged 10 to 17, a healthy
amount is about eight to nine hours per night.
However, many students don’t get enough sleep because of early
school start times and too much homework. The China Youth and
ChildrenResearchCenter reported that about 80% of middle school
