A Happy Weekend in the Past Tense

Last weekend was filled with immense joy and laughter.I woke up

early on Saturday morning, feeling excited about the activities

friends and I decided to go on a hiking trip to the nearby

popped some popcorn, chose a thrilling film, and settled in for a night of

suspenseful plot kept us on the edge of our seats, and

we screamed in excitement during the intense scenes.

Looking back, that happy weekend was a precious time spent with
