ɑ[ᴀ]发音时口大开，舌位低平，不圆唇。

Open your mouth widely with the tongue in the lowest vertically. The lips are

not rounded.

Examples:阿ā

o[o]发音时口半开，舌位稍高，圆唇.

Ctract the tongue toward the root direction and at the same time raise the

tongue to the half-high position and round your lips. The mouth is half open.

Examples:哦ò

e[ɤ] 发音时口半开，嘴角稍向两边展开，不圆唇。

Stretch the corners of the mouth towards two sides slightly. The lips are not

rounded. The mouth is half open.

Examples:鹅é 饿è

ê[ɛ]发音时下颚稍向下，开口略大于“e”。不圆唇。

When producing this sound,the jaw downward moves, the mouth is a little

bigger than“e”. The lips are not rounded.

Examples:欸ê

i[i] 口微开，舌尖自然抵住下齿，嘴角向两边展开，双唇呈扁平形。Place your tongue

tip in the high position and the tongue should touch the back of the lower front

teeth,at the same time,stretch the corners of the mouth towards two sides.

Examples:一 姨 椅 意

u[u] 发音时口微开，舌后缩，舌尖放低，双唇紧缩呈圆形。

Contract your tongue toward the root and keep the tongue tip in the low

your mouth shape rounded.

Examples:屋 吴 午 务

ü[y]舌位与i相同，但双唇尽量收缩呈圆形。

Use the same tongue position as in pronouncing Chinese “i”,then draw your

lips in to form a perfect circle as small as possible.

Examples:愚 鱼 雨 遇

er[ɚ] 卷舌韵母。口半开，舌面平放，在发“e”音的同时，舌尖向上轻翘并后卷。
