My hometown is in Boye County, Hebei Province. Located

on the North China Plain, it is a small county with less

developed economy.

Although my hometown is not as civilized and prosperous

as a metropolis, nor as beautiful as a scenic spot, it has a

unique beauty.

In spring, everything recovers. The little swallow came

from the south, called friends and attracted friends, murmured

and danced in the air, looking for the former warm nest;

Willows pull out tender branches, gently swaying with the

breeze. In summer, cicadas play tirelessly in the shade, birds

stand on the branches and show off their singing songs. Bees

and butterflies are unwilling to be outdone and dance among

the flowers - they are having a get-together! In autumn, in the

fields, corn is golden and cotton is white; In the orchard, red

apples, yellow pears, purple grapes, everywhere is a charming

scene of harvest. In winter, the best thing is that after a snow,

the children are covered in snow. They make snowmen and

have snowball fights in the snow. How happy they are!

Seeing here, who can deny that my hometown is not

beautiful? However, just because some people usually don't

pay attention to civilization and environmental protection,

they are painting disharmonious colors on the beautiful face

of their hometown: looking around, white plastic bags can be

seen everywhere, bamboo sticks that have eaten roasted

mutton kebabs can be thrown everywhere, fruit peels and

waste paper are piled on the ground beside the roadside

garbage cans, green headed flies are buzzing around in them,

and you can smell an unpleasant odor from This

scene can't help but make people see it, Anxious! In the long

run, how can we get it? If you want to make your hometown

clean and beautiful again, every citizen should take action

immediately, starting from me and daily things, and jointly

maintain the surrounding environment!

As a member of my hometown, of course, I can't be an

exception. I also want to do my best to contribute a little to the

beautiful tomorrow of my hometown.

On Sunday, I went shopping in the supermarket with two

friends. Before going, I told them to bring their own eco-

friendly shopping bags. We bought some school supplies and

snacks. When we paid at the cashier, when the cashier asked

whether we wanted plastic bags, we answered in unison: No,

and took out our own shopping bags. The big sister smiled and

said, "well, I brought them all by myself. My little sister pays

attention to environmental protection and deserves praise!"

Everyone laughed knowingly. On the way back, we ate and

walked with snacks, and one of our friends threw the bag

containing beef jerky on the ground. I quickly reminded her,

to protecting the environment. Then we went back to the

garbage can and stuck the paper firmly to the garbage can

with adhesive tape. After all this, we laughed happily

start from the little things around us and protect our

environment everywhere and at all times. Only in this way, our

hometown, our motherland and even the world will become

more beautiful and harmonious!
