secure的用法详解
1. 作形容词
(1) 有把握的；确切的；有保证的
Our success is secure. 我们的成功是有把握的。
We feel secure of victory. 我们对胜利有把握。
(2) 无忧虑的；无疑虑的（与about连用）
The girl feels secure about her future. 那女孩对自己的前途无忧无虑。
(3)安全的；受保护的（against, from连用）
You have made me feel secure. 你使我感到很安全。
Extra men are needed to secure the camp against attack.需要增加兵力以保护军
营免受攻击。
(4) 牢固的；稳固的；可靠的
Is the ladder secure? 梯子安全吗？
His place in history is now secure.他在历史上的地位现在已经稳固了。
2. 作动词
(1) 关紧；使牢固
They secured all the doors and windows before leaving the house. 他们离开房
子之前关好了所有的门窗。
(2)保护（与against, from连用）
