瑞士投资公司瑞士联合银行(UBS)新落成的伦敦总
部布罗德盖特5号大楼是伦敦最大的“低层大楼”。这
座位于伦敦市中心的世界级写字楼提供12层共超过
65 000m

的全新办公空间,并配备了一流的交易、客
户和员工设施。
在办公楼设计上,这座大楼在建筑规模、材料的使用
和商业功能等各方面都实现了巨大飞跃,但表现最突
出的还是其可持续性。简而言之,布罗德盖特5号大
楼是同类建筑中最环保的建筑之一,为未来的商业办
公楼设计树立了新的标杆。
设计概要
在布罗德盖特5号大楼落成之前,伦敦瑞士联合银行
的员工分散在几处不同的办公点,其中一处是位于布
罗德盖特地产核心区东隅的一座大厦。业主最主要的
需求是建成一座可容纳包括交易、管理和后勤人员在
内的6 000名伦敦瑞士联合银行员工的新办公楼。此
外业主还提出了一些具体要求,例如接待区、用餐会
议设施及办公室须尽可能宽敞,同时要有一个高水准
的开放庭院等。设计的每一个环节都必须将能源消耗

该设计的一大突出特点是大胆采用了几何切口的不锈钢
建筑立面,将建筑的内部特征展现出来。例如,大楼外
壁包层的对角线切口与内部楼梯是平行的,而上下运行
的电梯透过垂直的开口可以将布罗德盖特办公区的绝佳
风景一览无余。大楼外表皮面积的65%皆为立体设计,
是全球同类建筑中立体表皮面积最大的建筑。
地面一层是采用双层层高设计的接待区和休闲设施,
紧接而上的是四层足球场大小的交易层,楼层几乎完
全为无间断设计,每一层最多可供750名交易员同时
工作;此外,还有一层可用作交易支持业务区;另有
两层带有户外露台的会议与访客接待设施楼层;以及
四层普通办公区和一层机械设备层。13.5m×12m的
结构柱网设计为未来空间用途的转换提供了可能。
这座建筑的可持续性虽不如建筑外观那样显而易见,
却也同样不容小觑。设计的各个方面都融入了环境友
好的特征。Make Architects建筑事务所与大英地产、
瑞士联合银行和伦敦金融城都从一开始就决心将可持
续发展放在首位,并努力寻找创新解决方案以实现这

与供应链无缝衔接
为了实现可持续发展目标,我们认为必须弥合设计与
采购阶段之间的断裂,在采购时就与供应链无缝衔接。
为此,我们为每一类采购项目都制定了有关可持续发
展性的加工制造投标具体标准,并在投标中期面试中
跟每一位承包商讨论详细要求。这样做可以确保承包
商充分领会我们的要求,同时也创造机会让承包商提
出一些往往无需额外成本的替代或改进方案。
在设计阶段,团队采取研讨小组的方式以寻找减少废
弃物、增加可回收成分的机会并确保目标的一致性。
接下来小组成员还要负责调查废弃物减少情况,优化
建筑材料选择,并从潜在的供应商那里获取数据,以
评估增加可回收成分的可能性以及可能的替代性材料。
通过这种方式,我们得以与承包商密切合作,使最终
采购的材料能够满足乃至超过我们对材料回收和隐含
碳排放所设定的目标。
建筑研究院环境评估法(BREEAM)向我们颁发了创
新大奖,以表彰我们改进采购所做的努力。
最终,布罗德盖特5号大楼的节能效率比英国制定的
建筑物规则标准还超出了50%,并获得了BREEAM

All timber and timber-based products used in the
construction of the shell, core element and first
phase of the landlord fit-out are guaranteed to come
from well-managed forests. As a result, 5 Broadgate
is one of only 80 buildings worldwide to gain
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody
certification.
natural lighting and ventilation
1.5m-diameter light pipes and curved stainless
steel louvres provide natural lighting and ventilation

stage alone cannot do, ensuring the highest levels of
recycled material and keeping embodied carbon at
a minimum. It is our hope that, along with its unique
and impressive appearance, 5 Broadgate will also
be recognised for its contribution to the future of
