A game in May

It’s a great May day. Dave wants to go out and play. But where can Dave play?

“Let’s go out and play a game. We can take our ball to the lake.”

“But the lake is not safe. We can’t play by the lake.”

“Let’s go out and play a game. We can take our ball to the cave.”

“But the cave is not safe. We can’t play in the cave.”

“Let’s go out and play a game. We can take our ball to the gate.”

“But the gate is not safe. We can’t play by the gate.”

“Let’s go out and play a game. We can take our ball to the cage.”

“But the cage is not safe. We can’t play in the cage.”

“Let’s go out and play a game. We can take our ball to the lane.”

“But the lane is not safe. We can’t play in the lane.”

“Let’s go out and play a game. We can take our ball to the plane.”

“But the plane is not safe. We can’t play by the plane.”

A hot air balloon

If I had a hot air balloon, I would fly around the world and see many wonderful

places and things.

I would fly to China to see the Great Wall and the panda bears.

I would fly to Australia to see the Koala bears and the kangaroos.

I would fly to France to see the Eiffel Tower and to eat the French bread.

I would fly to Holland to see the windmills and the tulips.

I would fly to Egypt to see the pyramids and the Nile River.

I would fly to England to see The Tower of London and to hear the bagpipes.

I would fly to America to see the statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon.

I would fly to Switzerland to see the Alps and to ski down the mountains.
