一名客户来找你做芳香治疗。她今年48岁，有一名17岁的儿子和一名15岁的女儿。孩子们在上学后都忙于功课，或参加学校的课后活动，或与朋友一起。客户的丈夫工作上经常需要出差，每次也需要离家一段长时间。他们住在伦敦，同时在乡郊有一所农庄，夫妇打算退休后在那里渡过。

A client comes to see you for aromatherapy treatments. She is 48 years old

and has a son aged 17 and daughter aged 15. They are both busy with after

school clubs and friends and homework. Her husband travels with his work

and is often away for long periods of time. They live in London and have a

cottage in the country which they are planning to retire to.

客户在一所学校任职秘书多年，她一直以家庭为重。她的母亲就住在附近，所以她和母亲的关系不错。然而她母亲在数年前被诊断出老年痴呆症，行为变得越来越难以应付。客户为这感到担心，并希望尽快为母亲找寻额外的照护。客户的公婆(丈夫的父母) 年纪虽然不小，仍然很健康活跃，并会定期到他们家里住上几天。

She has been working as a school secretary for years and has been dedicated

to her family. Her mother lives nearby and they have always had a good

relationship, however the mother was diagnosed with dementia a few years

ago and her behaviour is becoming difficult to handle at times. This is

worrying her and she knows that she will have to sort out some extra care

for her soon. Her husband’s parents are elderly but still very active and

regularly come to stay.

cannot seem to keep up anything regular for herself because of all the

family commitments and work. She is beginning to suffer from bouts of

insomnia and anxiety attacks, she has very low energy and has lost her sense

of enjoyment in life. Her GP has prescribed anti-depressants but she doesn’t

want to take them and on the recommendation of a friend has come to you.
