Film festivals in the 21st century may serve the purposes as follows:

1) A Market place. Films are screened to attract potential buyers.

2) The PR Machine. Big studios, film producers and directors use film festivals to promote their big

movies. They usually do this by sending their movie’s stars to the festival to mingle with the crowd

and promote their movie. Sometimes, the celebrity power present in a film festival overshadow the

featured festival films themselves, which is a shame.

3) The cultural showcase. Smaller film festivals tend to stick with the basic purpose of a film festival

which is to show and appreciate art in cinema.

21世纪的电影节可能会有以下目的:

Johnson Zhang, the host today. The conference will start in about two or three minutes. It will be

Aurora Announces Opening of Life Crisis

June 20, 2020 – Aurora Communication organized a press conference and premiere for the new

film Life Crisis.

With all post-production work completed, Aurora is proud to announce the public release of life

Crisis on August 20, 2020. It is a science fiction film starring Billy Alexander and Brownie Maggie,

and directed by Swiss Godfrey.

Life Crisis is the story of countries all over the world fighting and cracking down the COVID-19 with

joint efforts.

“None of this would have happened if not for the staff from Aurora Communication who sponsored

us and helped us with our cast/crew screening,” says director Swiss Godfrey about the support the

film had received. “They've just been incredible.”

The screenplay writer and producer Maria Smith and art director Swan Burberry were also there at

the press conference to promote their upcoming film.

Film production really begins with a production permit. Here is a guide to the first phase of

Finalizing Casting

The final casting is needed so you can start rehearsing, fitting costumes, doing makeup tests, and

Crew Casting

You're about to shoot a movie and now you've got to hire the entire rest of the crew.

For a large budget film, you may be about to hire and schedule several hundred people. Everyone

from craftsmen and technicians to workers should be decided so that the legal can get them on the

books.

Getting ready

There is a saying in the business: No project is ever finished; it merely gets released. Script

revisions, storyboards, production design, and camera tests need to end sometime. You really need

to stop changing these things as soon as possible so that all the rest of this stuff can get locked

down-- especially the schedule and budget.
