I don’t have a Mac, but I want to publish an iOS app using EAS Build. I have a Windows PC and an iPhone.
I have a few questions regarding the process:
Can I build and publish an iOS app using EAS Build without a Mac? Do I need a Mac at any point to get an Apple Developer account or to publish the app? If a Mac is required, for which specific tasks do I need it, and for how long? If it’s only needed once, I can borrow a friend’s MacBook, but I can’t rely on it for frequent development tasks. I would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks!

Reset to default 1You don't need a mac for any part of the development process if you're using Expo and EAS.
You can sign up for the apple developer account through any web browser.
Development can be done on your Windows PC, with testing on your iPhone through the Expo Go App.
When it's time to build, just use EAS cloud build and it'll compile your app and publish through your Apple developer account without ever actually needing a mac
Bear in mind the free EAS plan limits you to 15 IOS builds per month. If you plan on publishing more often than that you'll have to upgrade to the paid tier
