"I am trying to grant the 'Cloud Vision API User' role (or the vision.images.annotate permission for a custom role) to a service account in my Google Cloud project ('DriveOCRAutomation'). However, I am unable to find this role or permission in the IAM role selection dropdown, even after granting my user account (******@gmail) the 'Service Account Admin' role.

Here's a breakdown of the steps I've taken:

Enabled Cloud Vision API: I have verified that the Cloud Vision API is enabled for my project. Granted 'Service Account Admin' Role: I have granted my user account the 'Service Account Admin' role at the project level. Attempted to Add Role/Permission: I have tried to add the 'Cloud Vision API User' role and the vision.images.annotate permission to my service account's permissions. Search Results: The role/permission does not appear in the search results when trying to add roles.

I am the project owner, and I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Logging out and logging back in. Trying a different browser. Clearing browser cache and cookies. Using incognito mode. What could be causing this issue, and how can I resolve it? Is there a project setting or anization policy that might be affecting the visibility of this role/permission?" enter image description here
