Seeing as (seeing that)

因为是……正因为，鉴于、由于、因为

在提及自己所说内容的理由时所使用的表达。主要使用的形式有 seeing that 主语+

动词或 seeing as 主语+动词的形式。

seeing as +句子 =seeing that+句子= seeing+句子

“seeing as”（或者"seeing that"）类似于“because”或者“considering that”，

用于引出一个事情的原因，这个原因通常是我们必须考虑或者接受的事实

例句：

Seeing that he's been off sick all week he's unlikely to come.

他请病假整整一周了，所以今天也不大可能来。

Seeing that things were going against him, he took to his heels.

看到势头对他不利，他拔腿就跑。

There isn't going to be any class today, seeing as we have no teacher.

老师今天不在，看来不会上课了。

Seeing that you're the leader, I'd appreciate you saying something.

既然你是我们的领袖，我希望你能说点什么。
