believe接宾语从句的用法

believe作为动词时，常用于引出宾语从句来表达个人或群体的观点、看法、意

见、信念等，常用连接词that或者whether/if。例如：

I believe (that) he is telling the truth.（我相信他说的是真的）

Do you believe (that) she will come?（你相信她会来吗？）

I don't believe (that) he is capable of doing it.（我不相信他有能力做到这件

事）

注意：在口语中，that 在有些情况下可以省略，但在写作中不可以。

如果宾语从句是一般疑问句，通常用whether或if引导，而不用that。例如：

I'm not sure whether/if he will come.（我不确定他会不会来）

He asked whether/if she had finished her homework.（他问她是否完成了

作业）

需要注意的是：当主语是it时，有时为了避免重复，可以使用the fact that来

引导宾语从句。例如：

I believe (the fact) that it is going to rain today.（我相信今天会下雨）
