FORGINGS

重型锻造钢的探伤测试标准惯例

1. Scope 范围

1.1 This practice covers the examination procedures for the contact,

pulse-echo ultrasonic examination of heavy steel forgings by the straight and

angle-beam techniques.

本惯例包含了通过直探头和斜探头的重型锻造钢的接触和回波探伤测试的程序。

1.2 This practice is to be used whenever the inquiry, contract, order, or

specification states that forgings are to be subject to ultrasonic examination in

accordance with ASTM Practice A 388.

这份惯例在当询盘、合同、订单或明细中声明锻造钢需要根据ASTM A 388进行探伤

测试时使用。

1.3 The values stated in either inch-pound or SI units are to be regarded as the

standard. Within the text, the SI units are shown in brackets. The values stated in

each system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system must be used

independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in

nonconformance with the specification.

1.4 This specification and the applicable material specifications are expressed

in both inch-pound units and SI units. However, unless the order specifies the

applicable “M” specification designation (SI units), the material shall be

furnished to inch-pound units.

本方法和材料规范均用英制和SI制表示。但除了订货规范采用规范符号M（SI）外，

应使用英制加工材料。

1.5 This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
