摘要:PURPOSE:To straighten a very thin sheet accurately and stably by controlling a
multi-roller tension leveler based on an optimum reduction obtained based on a camber
quantity measured in the outlet side of the leveler and a tilt angle operated based on
quality of material. CONSTITUTION:A tilt angle is operated by a microcomputer 11 based
on conditions such as the quality of plate material and operating conditions so that an
oscillation region or a sheet camber in the multi-roller tension leveler 12 falls into a fixed
range according to those conditions. A sheet camber detector 13 set on the outlet side
of the leveler 12 measures quantity of camber at 2 or more points in a measurable sheet
camber region in the early times of sheet passing. An optimum reduction is obtained by
interpolation of the relation between the above quantity of sheet chamber and roll
reductions for sheet passing based on actually measured values. The very thin sheet is
straightened accurately and stably by transferring those tilt angles and reductions to the
control system of the leveler.
