This standard is applicable to all JLR chrome and bright work components used on the interior or

exterior of the vehicle.

A High Visibility Exterior – areas of a component which are directly in the line of vision.

A High Visibility Interior – areas of a component which are directly in the line of vision, viewed in

any direction from a normal seating position, as well as areas of a component that are visible when

entering or exiting the vehicle and when opening the luggage compartment.

B Low Visibility Exterior – areas of a component that are visible but not within conditions described

3 Surface Quality Standards (see Tables 1)

3.1 A description of the characteristics identified in Table 1 are detailed in Appendix A – Glossary
