ignition distributor has several functions. It opens and closes the (primary )

ignition circuit. It distributes the high tension current to the respective

(cylinders ) of the engine. It also has a mechanism that controls the (firing )

at which the breaker points open, thereby advancing or (retarding ) the spark in

accordance with engine requirements.

3、There are two basic types of automatic transmissions based on whether the vehicle

The main parts of the charging system include, the battery, the alternator; the

voltage regulator, which is usually integral to the alternator; a charge warning,

or indicator light; and wiring that completes the circuits.
