About the refined copper sand

Dear Sir or Madam:

We expect you have received our letter of 10th April regarding to the refined copper sand.

We have decided to buy 10,000 metric tons of refined copper sand from your company in accordance with the

price list and the terms concerned you sent us on 30th March. It is hoped that all the refined copper sand will be

delivered before 31st April.

We will apply to Bank of China for an irrecoverable L/C with you being the beneficiary at least 15 days

before shipment. You are authorized to accept the fund on the basis of L/C.

We appreciate a quick delivery of contract draft in the light of the price list and terms concerned for check and

approval.

May this operation be a good start and lays the foundation for our future cooperation.

accepted by your company.

dollars was issued by Tokyo Commercial Bank this morning. We appreciate a quick arrangement for the

shipment of the ordered products after you receiving this letter. It is reported that “Hope” is scheduled to

set out from your port on 1st May and sail for the port in my city. “Hope” may be a good choice for this

shipment.

A large number of orders would be guaranteed provided that the products we received this time meet

the demands of our clients.

我们仔细研究了贵方2月25日来函，我们两家公司有业务往来多年，我们本该同意贵公司降低内衣价格的要求，但困难不少。在过去三个月内原料成本上升很快，若按贵公司所提减价5%，势必大大影响产品质量标准，而这是我公司所不愿意采取的做法。我们建议所有货价减少3%，而不是5%，这样做将不会因减价而影响产品质量。

希望贵公司接受我们的返还盘，并一如既往寄来订单。

Dear Sir or Madam:

We have read your letter of 25th February repeatedly. It has been years since your company and our company

establish the business relationship. We should have agreed to reduce the price of under wear at your request; however,

this is no easy job due to the growing material cost in the past three months. The quality would be greatly declined as

the price is reduced by 5%, which is unacceptable for us. Thus we suggest a 3% percent reduction, instead of 5%,

which will not influence the quality at all.

It is hoped that our counter counter-offer will be accepted and more orders are welcomed.

Dear Sir,

Referring to your L/C No. 101, valid for shipment before the end of this month, we hasten to inform you that

we cannot utilize it because it came to had just now, leaving us so short a time for shipping arrangements. Under the

circumstance, we are compelled to request you make an extension for one month, that is, to the end of next month.

It is hoped that you will not cut it too tight when opening L/C in future so as to save trouble of extension.
