I'm a news junkie.

我是个新闻迷。

I like to read two newspapers everyday.

我每天爱读两份报纸。

I don't just look at the headlines. I read most of the

stories.

我不但看头条，更会读完绝大部分的报道。

I like the political news, the business news, the

editorials, and the entertainment news.

我喜欢政治新闻、商业新闻、编辑评论和娱乐新闻。

The only things I don't usually read are the sports pages

and the classifieds.

我不太爱读的是体育与分类信息。

I also try to catch the local TV news each day.

我每天还看本地的电视新闻。

I like to watch Channel 4 for the news reporting, but I

like the weather report on Channel 9 mainly because the

reporter is not only good, she's beautiful!

我喜欢看四频道的新闻报道，我还爱看九频道的天气预报，主要原因是那个主持人不但专业水准高，更还是个漂亮女孩。

For the national news, I like all three of the network

anchors, so it doesn't matter which one I catch.

国内新闻，三个电视网的主持人都不错，所以我是碰上哪台看哪台。

On top of that, I like to read a newsmagazine each week.

我还喜欢读每周的新闻杂志。

I like the longer feature stories that give more in-depth

coverage of that week's top stories.

我喜欢看那些针对每周重大事件的长篇，有深度的报道。

So, when I said I was a news junkie, I wasn't joking.

所以我称自己是新闻迷，是有根据的。

When I travel to other countries, the first thing I do is

look for an English-language newspaper.

当我旅行到别的国家时，第一件事就是去买一份英文报纸。

Then, I can relax!

这样，我就能很自在了。
