demand【注意事项】

可后接不定式，但通常不接不定式的复合结构，若意义上需要这类结构，可换成 that 从句或在 demand 后接 of。如：他要求她同我们一起去。

误：He demanded her to go with us.

正：He demanded that she (should) go

with us.

正：He demanded of her to go with us.

2. 表示“向某人要求某物”，可用

demand sth of [from] sb。如：

He demanded too high a price of me.

他向我要价太高。

He demanded an apology from the boss.

他要求老板道歉

1. 老板要求人人参加会议。

The boss required /demanded that

everyone (should) attend the

meeting.

require【注意事项】

e 表示“需要=need=want”时，其后可接动名词主动形式表被动)或不定式被动形式(表被动)。

The room requires cleaning /to be

cleaned. 房间需要打扫了。

2. require 后可接不定式的复合结构。

如：They required him to keep it a

secret. 他们要求他对这事保密。

All the members are required to

attend the meeting.

全部会员均要求出席会议。

3. 表示“向某人要求某物”可用require

sth of [from] sb，但更多是其被动语态

后接 of sb。如：

What do you require of me?

你要求我做什么?

I have done everything that was

required of me.

一切要我做的事情我都已经做好了。

含"被动"意味的动词

有些动词，如sell,open,close,wash,teach,burn,measure,cut,lock,cost,read,write,tear,wear,pull, clean,add,cook,let（出租）等，它们的主语是事物，且又是表示主语的固有特征和状态，与行为方式状语连 用时，要用主动形式表被动意义：

My pen writes smoothly.我的笔好写。Oil burns easily.油易燃烧。
